BASIC COMPUTER

कॉम्पुटर म्हणजे काय ?  
कॉम्पुटर हे एक electronic machine आहे. कॉम्पुटर input साधना मार्फत माहिती घेऊन, त्यावर system unit द्वारे माहितीवर process करून, तयार झालेली माहिती out put devices द्वारे दाखवण्याचे काम करते.

TYPES OF COMPUTER SYSTEM

1)   Super computer –

             Super computer are the most powerful and most expensive computer so far made. Only few of these computers are produced per year, because only few organizations need their processing capabilities. Supercomputers are national resource.

              These computers are used in energy sector space exploration, medicine, industry, and other critical areas.

             Cray Research (Brand name – CRAY), and Control Data Corporation (Brand name – SYBER) are two primary builders of supercomputers in America.

In India, Center for Development of advance computing (C-DAC) , Pune has developed the supercomputers “PARAM”

2)   Main Frame Computer

            Since, all its peripherals are mounted in large cabinet type frame; it is called as mainframe computer, these are used in large scale industry, research industry, government server (military, police)

3)   Minicomputer –

          These are similar to main frame computer in appearance but have smaller capacity.

4)   Micro computer –

           These computer are generally be used only by one person at a time. They are small compare to all computers, PC’s are microcomputer and generally used for educational purpose. Also used in small scale industries, home, office, personal purpose.

Example of micro computer – 1) all desktop computer, 2) Laptop

1)   MONITOR- 

MONITOR ला OUTPUT DEVICE असे म्हणतात. कारण MONITOR COMPUTER मध्ये PROCESS झालेली तसेच साठवलेली माहिती दाखवण्याचे काम करतो.

TYPES  OF MONITOR  - 

1)      CRT MONITOR (CATHODE RAY TUBE)

2)      LCD MONITOR (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY )

3)      LED MONITOR (LIGHT EMITTING DIODE)

2) KEYBOARD - 

KEYBOARD ला इनपुट DEVICE असे म्हणतात, कारण KEYBOARD कॉम्पुटर सिस्टीम मध्ये माहिती INPUT म्हणजे भरण्याचे काम करतो, तसेच KEYBOARD द्वारे COMPTER ला काही COMMAND देण्यासाठी देखील त्याचा वापर केला जातो.

2)      USB Keyboard (pin less )

                                          3)   Wireless Keyboard (Bluetooth)
